GREY PORPHYRY TILES
The tiles are divided into two groups: the sliced tiles and the sawn tiles. between 2 and 5 cm .; for particular uses, tiles with higher or thinner thicknesses can be produced, especially suitable for coverings. With normal processing, tiles of cm. 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 - 30 - 35 - 40 - 45 and 50 in width, length to run and are packed and supplied on pallets of mq. 15 each tied with nylon.
Sawn ribbed tiles are consistently square slabs, but feature sawn edges rather than split ones. The length may be either free or fixed. They are categorized as follows:
Hollowed surface: retains the natural texture while featuring a variable thickness.
Flamed surface: Achieved by sawing and then applying a flame treatment to the top surface. Ideal for use as interior flooring.
Smooth surface: achieved through sawing and subsequent smoothing of the material, with a consistent thickness.
Polished top: Achieved by sawing the blocks and then polishing the material to a fixed thickness.
Bush-hammered top: achieved through mechanical hammering of the surface.
